The writer, photographer, editor and everything else that keeps this travel website up and running! Thank you for visiting my corner of the web, where I’ll share my love of Europe, international adventures, turquoise waters, seafront terraces, and dreamy hotels!
My goal is to build a community of like-minded travellers seeking to explore some amazing locations, hidden gems and a little luxury for a more rewarding experience whether that’s a short or a long trip.
About Me
I first fell in love with travel at 20 when I decided to move to Australia for a year. Being in this new country, working and travelling, was everything I dreamed of and more!
I spent 3 years travelling Asia and New Zealand before returning to the UK to become a 5-stat travel consultant, for a luxury travel agent! At that time, I was very fortunate to see a lot of the world, but I always had the burning desire to create a luxury travel blog and in 2019, I achieved that goal!
Travel is my passion and I hope to share it with as many people as possible through my love of creating and colourful photography. (That 2002 Media Degree finally becoming useful!).
Travel Style
My style is luxury travel, I like adventures but also a little luxury and favour boutique and independent hotels to chains. My main focus is Southern Europe, historic locations, islands, and off-the-beaten-path places. Especially Croatia, I consider myself (after dozens of trips) to be an expert in this destination – so much so it has its own special highlighted place on the blog – check it out here!
What I do…
I spend hours upon hours researching, I have an obsession with finding out where the best coffee, wine bars, scenic spots, and brunch places are before I arrive to save time looking these things up when I could be maximizing my trip – I also pre-book tickets for attractions and excursions.
