“A traveller on a mission to discover the beautiful places and lesser-known gems”

Little Wanderblog

I’m Michelle, the traveller in pursuit of hidden gems and beautiful adventures.

Thank you for visiting my corner of the web, where I’ll share my love of Europe, international adventures, turquoise waters, seafront restaurants, and dreamy hotels!

My goal is to build a community of like-minded travellers seeking to explore lesser-known places in popular destinations and discover some wonderful locations for a more rewarding experience whether that’s a short or a long trip.

Meet, Michelle

After travelling extensively (months and years), I eventually became a luxury travel consultant, which came with its perks. At that time, I was very fortunate to see a lot of the world, but I always had the burning desire to create a travel blog and in 2019, I achieved that goal!

Travel is my passion and I hope to share it with as many people as possible through my love of creating and colourful photography. (That 2002 Media Degree finally becoming useful!).

In my mission to give you the best of the best, I’ll highlight the things that matter most, including a good viewpoint, coffee house, wine bar, beautiful beach, boutique hotel, historical sight and unmissable day trips.

In an ideal world all of those things in one location, a historical town next to the sea with plenty of things to explore!

Travel Style

My style is best described as curious – boutique, I like adventures but also a little luxury. European towns, historic locations, islands and off-the-beaten-path places are my main focus. Especially Croatia, I consider myself (after dozens of trips) to be somewhat of an expert in this destination – so much so it has its own special highlighted place on the blog!

What I do…

I spend hours upon hours researching, I have an obsession with finding out where the best coffee, wine bars, scenic spots, and brunch places are before I arrive to save time looking these things up when I could be maximizing my trip – I also pre-book tickets for attractions and excursions.

A lot of my trips involve cobbled streets, culture, gardens, scenic trains, boat excursions, pretty beach coves and some off-the-beaten-path exploring including the odd road or rail trip. One thing that is usually a constant is my love of a good boutique hotel or apartment in an excellent location!
