There’s 27km of coastline to explore with three main areas and points of interest, these are Marbella Old Town, Puente Romano and Puerto Banus. All are excellent places to stay and offer the best hotels in Marbella!
MARBELLA OLD TOWN
Marbella old town is beautiful and quaint with cobbled stoned picturesque streets, squares and history. There’s a Moorish castle, churches and it’s surrounded by restaurants, cafes and orange trees.
GOLDEN MILE
Golden mile is the 5km entire strip that runs from Marbella Town to Puerto Banus. It’s the most glamorous area known for hosting the best hotels in Marbella, top restaurants and beach clubs.
PUERTO BANUS
A luxury marina filled with yachts, super cars and waterfront high-end dining. You’ll love the beautiful cascading white houses draped with bougainvillea and designer boutique shops.

Marbella Club Hotel is a historic hotel located in stunning Puente Romano with 35 guest rooms and 80 suites set amongst lush tropical gardens, terraces and pools, its beautiful. With pastel and coastal decor, each space is calming and luxurious, the sea-facing sunbeds and umbrellas are a dream! The Beach Club is my favourite spot for looks and food, it’s perfect for dining and relaxing with an amazing sea view.
Once a hotspot for European royalty with the likes of Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, Marbella Club is now a renowned well-being retreat where you laze around one of the three pools, learn meditation (amongst many things) or hit the award-winning holistic spa. In my view this is the best located hotel and the best hotel in Marbella!
Nobu Hotel
Location: Golden Mile, Puente Romano
If you’re looking for an vibrant grown-up hotel that is next to the beach in central Puente Romano then 5 star Nobu Hotel is perfect. Nobu shares the same tropical grounds as Marbella’s top hotel, Puente Romano Resort so you can be assured of an attractive area and an abundance of facilities.
This luxury hotel in Marbella has 81 rooms and most of them are centred around a beautiful courtyard and restaurant which livens up later on in the evening. All the communal spaces are elegant and modern with a many contemporary art and light pieces and natural wood, where as the guest suites are light, neutral and calming with attractive terraces.
Another benefit at this adult-only hotel is that guests can relax on the beach just 500 metres away with Nobu sunbeds and enjoy priority access to Nobu and La Suite, Marbella’s most exclusive club. Nobu hotel is one of the best hotels in Marbella for good value considering what you get for it.
Puente Romano Beach Resort

Another fantastic hotel in the Golden Mile, the Puente Romano Beach Resort is by far one of the best 5 star hotels in Marbella, it’s the dream! Puente Romano Beach Resort is ideal if you want a little luxury and lots of top class amenities without having to walk too far, you could almost check-in and just stay in the premises!
There’s something for everyone here at this five star resort, including 20 restaurants and bars, fitness and tennis courts, designer pop-up shops and an award winning Six Senses Spa. My favourite thing about this complex is the gorgeous Andalusia village style, variety of room types, luscious tropical plants that are everywhere, adult only pools and the best ever beach club.
Chiringuito Puente Romano is the best place to hang out at the beach and enjoy the sea views. The decor is bohemian and luxury and the breakfasts are healthy, I’m already dreaming of when I can visit this spot again!

A contemporary 4 star adult-only beach front hotel in Marbella with a fun atmosphere and luxury details including sea-facing pool, popular roof top terrace, spa, fitness suite and there’s even a beach club. The Amare Hotel is housed within a modern building with mostly white decor throughout, there are many room types to choose from and some have spacious balconies.
