Korcula Town is the main place to stay on Korcula Island and it’s a stunner, one of the most loveliest areas I’ve spent time in, I love waking up to incredible views and breakfasting along the waterside prom surrounded by pretty scenery – it’s truly an unbeatable location!

Most visitors stay in this area or just outside the heritage centre where there are boutique hotels offering sea views and wonderful terraces including my personal favourite, Heritage Korcula Hotel, and across the island there are quiet bays and quaint villages – below I’m sharing my top picks for where to stay in Korcula!

WHERE TO STAY IN KORCULA ISLAND – OVERVIEW

Korcula Town is the most sought-after spot on the island, known for its historic charm, serene mountain backdrop, and long, tree-lined promenade. The setting is beautiful and the vibe relaxed, and just a short stroll along the waterfront, you’ll find some of the best boutique hotels in Korcula!

Visitors usually come to the island to explore Korcula Town and the Lumbarda (wine) region fifteen minutes away and scattered along the curvy shorelines you’ll find a few resorts within scenic bays, tiny quaint villages and Vela Luka the second largest town on the West Coast, a 50-minute drive from the heritage centre.

When choosing where to stay in Hvar, I recommend focusing on hotels in Korcula Town or walking distance, which is the most convenient and picturesque spots, near the main attractions, best restaurants and boat tours – it’s where you will spend the majority of your time!
